We know how Salem's disposal really works. The county's construction and demolition debris routes through the Marion County Salem-Keizer Recycling & Transfer Station, while much of its household garbage is burned for energy at Covanta in Brooks. Knowing what the transfer station takes - and what has to go elsewhere - turns a multi-facility disposal problem into a single container we take away.
We take what curbside won't. The weekly garbage cart is for household waste, level-fill only - construction and renovation debris is not curbside material. A roll-off is exactly what fills that gap. And every load leaves tarped and secured for the haul.

What size dumpster do I need?
It depends far more on the material than the volume. Dense debris such as tile, concrete and wet valley clay reaches a weight limit before it fills the container, so a smaller box filled properly is usually cheaper. Bulky light material such as furniture, framing and packaging suits the larger sizes. Tell us the project.
Where does my debris actually go?
To the Marion County-operated Salem-Keizer Recycling & Transfer Station on Deer Park Drive SE, which takes construction and demolition debris, concrete and asphalt. Unusually, much of the county's household garbage is burned for energy at the Covanta plant in Brooks rather than landfilled - we know the whole system.
Curbside won't take construction debris - can you?
Yes, that is exactly what we are for. The weekly curbside cart is for household waste and is level-fill only, not construction debris, appliances or a full cleanout. We drop a container, you fill it, we haul it - one flat price.
Do you serve West Salem and Polk County?
Yes. West Salem is inside the city limits but on the Polk County side of the Willamette River, and we serve it and the Polk County towns - Dallas, Monmouth, Independence - as part of our core area, hauling back across the river to the transfer station.
Will the container damage my driveway?
We plank under the rollers and rails on every delivery, at no charge, to spread the weight and protect the surface. Tell us if you have decorative, older or sloped hill-lot concrete and we take extra care.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Salem?
Not on your own driveway or private property. If the container has to sit on a public street or right-of-way, that needs approval from the City of Salem or Marion County, depending on which owns your street.
How quickly can you deliver?
Usually next day, and often same day if a run is already heading your way, since we are right here in Salem. Call before mid-morning for the best chance of same-day.
